OSHA Names Scott Ketcham Director of Construction Directorate

Scott Ketcham has been announced as the new director of OSHA’s Directorate of Construction. The announcement came in a press release by OSHA on Monday Sept 16

According to the Sept. 16 press release, Ketcham has been deputy director since February 2017. He also has been acting head since January, succeeding Dean McKenzie, who died Nov. 4 after a long bout with cancer, according to a Bloomberg Environment report. Before joining the OSHA national office, Ketcham served for 19 years in multiple roles at OSHA regional offices in the Dallas, Philadelphia and Seattle areas. His titles included acting deputy regional administrator, area director and compliance officer.
“Scott Ketcham is a dedicated public servant,” acting OSHA administrator Loren Sweatt said in the release. “He has demonstrated strong leadership throughout his OSHA career.”
