Hi, I’m Patience Adagba. I am an innovative, hands-on environment, health and safety (EHS) and Risk and Emergency Management professional passionate about helping organizations to create a safer and secure workplace for their employees. I develop standards, playbooks and procedures. I write policies. I challenge the status quo.

About Me

Dr. Patty Adagba is a Sr. Manager at Amazon. Her previous employers are United Airlines, Tesla and Genentech. She founded PattyAdax EHS Solutions LLC, a consulting firm in Health & Safety and Risk Management and Emergency Preparedness to help organizations raise their workplace Hazards and Effects Management capabilities to a new level. With over 13 years of experience, she is well-versed in different risk and safety management applications and tools, designed to meet the varied needs of users/organization.

Her expertise includes, but are not limited to: Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)- Federal and State regulatory requirements; Health & Safety audits, OSHA General Industry training and administration; emergency preparedness, response and business continuity/recovery; Policy & Procedure writing and project management.

She holds the following certifications, ASP, CSP, PMP and CSM. She earned her doctorate in Public Safety: Emergency Management from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN. She received her Master in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental management from Columbia Southern University, Orange Beach, AL and a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University, San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Patience has a knack for teaching. She is an OSHA Authorized instructor and since 2013, has trained more than 100 people on OSHA 10 and 30 hour. She is also a professor in Occupational Safety & Health in the College of Safety and Emergency Services at Columbia Southern University where she hopes to inspire young safety professionals. Kindly click on the button below to connect with her on LinkedIn.
